Business Objective
Investment products across the firm were inconsistent in look, feel, and functionality, causing confusion for users as well as for Pershing's designers and developers. I was tasked with institutionalizing and standardizing UI Guidelines for Pershing's UX Design Team. This guideline helped create a sense of control, familiarity, and reliability.
Solution
Based on existing screens and real data, I formulated UI guidelines and common process mappings to assist in faster development time, establish consistent code and design throughout the site, and improve communication among stakeholders involved in developing the interface (designers, developers, product managers, etc.).
