Pop Music Perfumes Campaign
This was our first campaign for Perfumes 365 since their presence on Facebook was reactivated. The aim of this campaign was to sell perfumes of pop music celebrities that were not so popular anymore.
Our idea was to create the copy for each perfume using the lyrics by the corresponding singer. We used both simple quotes from those lyrics and pun-intended wordplay based on them. Visually, I worked to focus the attention on the product, as we were before the campaign on minimalist routine posts, but also adding some elements related to each perfume's advertising.
The following examples are part of my initial visual proposal.
Following the Pop Music Campaign, Perfumes 365 asked us to create a campaign for Christmas time. This was the first to be on Instagram since the account was created and also one of the earliest on Facebook.
Our idea was to use a visual language that looked familiar in the spirit of the season, using the winter and Christmas traditional squared pattern motifs as inspiration and giving it a twist by keeping the brand's purple as the main color.
As to the copywriting, the message was based on a Portuguese expression that uses the word “smell” and roughly translates as “Seems to me…”. We took the double-meaning expression and used it in a funny way, then replicating it to adapt to any person to whom the client was going to offer a perfume.
Each post had a few suggestions of perfumes to offer a mother, a father, a girlfriend, a boyfriend, etc.
