I prepared graphic design and illustrations for a group exhibition for a collective called VE-ZA. VE-ZA is a non-profit organization for creativity and social development. The exhibition was called Be Mine. The theme was a woman and her place in society.
Something more from the exhibition.
Interactive exhibition: Be mine
Be mine, be mine and I’ll tell you what you should to be like!
Female identity is schizophrenic.
She’s torn between being a mother-housewife and a sexual object.
What is a woman and who does she belong to?
Is a woman a property of society?
Who controls, manages and disciplines a woman?
Where is the promised gender equality? Have we really achieved it yet?
Does gender even matter?
Is a woman in today’s society privileged?
What percentage of women’s work is paid?
Why does a woman have to try to be a woman?
There are no answers on a silver tray.
We invite you to look for them in your own way and share your findings with us.
