With such a heavy influence on computer based industry, especially within the word of design, I wanted to focus on things that are getting left behind.

Crafts and artisan jobs are often seen as being very rudimental and sometime a little bit of a joke. 

Therefore, the aim of this project was to educate people about the ‘Stuff We Used To Do’ that might seem a little trivial to us now.

As a society that spends its time staring at tablet and smartphone screens, I decided this would be an ironic, yet effective way of spreading the message. The modern style also works in a way to show that although these things aren’t done now - this is perhaps the way that they would have be presented were they still as relevent as they were in centuries past.  

In my opinion, what our ancestors did from day to day is something that should not be forgotten, and raising awareness through modern techonologies will help to maintain a certain level of respect for the gruelling tasks that we no longer have to do, thanks to technological advancements.
