WHAT IS DESIGN ?
Objectives
To design an educative poster concept on What is Design ? with strong visual communication thereby creating an impact on the viewer.
Outcomes
After brainstorming a bit I thought of seeing design in everyday life. I thought of the golden ratio and how it is seen everywhere from plants, animals to the galaxy. The images are strategically placed creating a spiral of the golden ratio. Letting the visual taking the centre stage and everything else is secondary.
DONATION AWARENESS POSTER
Objective
To create a poster related to a social issue and should "move" people by hitting the emotions of the viewer.
Outcome
In order to create awareness about the importance of eye donation this poster was created. The girls face is intentionally black and white which depicts that the girl is dead and the eyes are colorful showing those eyes can be donated to someone making there life colorful. The emphasis is given to the word donate by highlighting in red. Effective communication to the viewer was necessary. Conceptualizing image and text and representing it digitally. some real life scenarios where the poster can be used.
