I visited Ouray Colorado a few years ago to compete in the Imogene Pass running race. This 17.1 mile race goes from Ouray to Telluride over the 13,114 ft Imogene Pass. I took a photo outside of the B&B where I was staying and later used it as a reference to illustrate this scene. It is a magical place full of adventure, wonder and beauty. Coupled with the majestic mountains and charming Victorian streets, the spirit of the Old West abounds in town and Ouray’s residents keep it alive through their friendliness, hospitality and genuine nature.
