This work was done for the Universidad Politécnico Gran Colombia, a student work in which the objective was to use an existing animation chapter and start the sound from scratch, including: foleys, environments, effects, dialogues and music.

The challenge of this project was to create the sounds from scratch, without using libraries, pure sound design and created for animation.

The music was composed in a post romantic cinematographic style, on the scale of FA minor to give drama to the short, and his intention with the use of the piano is to show that suffering and sadness of that post apocalyptic world.

Animatrix is ​​a post-apocalyptic robot-controlled animation, in which all humans are manipulated into a world cut off from reality. The main character, looking to win an athletics race, realizes that his world is not real. To capture the function of an unreal world managed by robots with a world that is supposedly the real one, environments that show these two worlds will be mixed, in which the whole environment will be heard at moments (whistles, street, people talking, screaming, ) and at other times there will be silences and sounds out of the real (robotic sounds of wind, clocks, and transitions).
