Kryptos by Willi is an upscale Greek restaurant. A space that brings authentic Greek cuisine to the Indian palate designed by Chef Willi. The restaurant's interiors makes use of materials that highlight Greece with a modern aesthetic.
 
The Brief was to create environmental graphics for restaurant space working with the exisiting 'Kryptos by Willi' logo

'Krytpos' in Greek means hidden.

The concept was to create an aura of mystery using language - Greek letterforms.
The central signage showcases the identity in clean metal-cut lettering. Black acrylic sheet with a scrambled set of laser-cut letters form a cryptic code. Hidden in the crypt were key ingredients used in Greek cooking that customers waiting to be seated could decode.

The entrance walk way was further enhanced with a Map Wall. The map also was created as a cryptic code, made using thousands of photographs taken by Chef Willi during his travels around the world, which one can see only on close observation. Transparent acrylic letters were scrambled and placed in certain areas of this map wall.

The menu card was designed as a sturdy vertically long book with a handwoven jute cover. Beautiful detailed watercolour illustrations of the basic ingredients and its health benefits adorn every page of the menu.
