This brochure was designed for Community Health Connections. This piece was designed to educate family members of Intellectually and Developmentally Disabled people on how to care for their loved ones after leaving the hospital.
The concept behind the design was pretty simple. I wanted to try something new. I decided to do something somewhat abstract, so I chose the red cross to represent the hospital and the arrow to represent the transition to home. The inside of the brochure is very text heavy and there was limited space. The continuation of the arrow/transition theme inside helps reinforce the theme and still left enough space for all the necessary text. This design is very different from anything else I've done, but I think the end result was successful.
