Camp Cole Identity

A new ADA-compliant, state-of-the-art facility for children and adults facing illness, disease and other physical and mental health challenges

Their Need
What started with a need for a refreshed logo and mission statement grew into a pair of full-throttle campaigns designed to support their marketing and fundraising efforts.
Our Solution
Despite several years of productive, grassroots activity by the Camp Cole board and volunteers, our partnership with this spirited non-profit resulted in a soup-to-nuts project that did a number on our heartstrings.

We started by developing a new logo and mission statement that honored the timelessness and nostalgia of summer camp, as well as the story of 11-year-old Cole Sawyer, who lost his battle with cancer in 2004. After equipping the Camp Cole Team with a top-shelf brand identity system, we developed a formal suite of marketing materials that included everything from stickers, banners, and pop-ups, to stationery, folders, and rack cards. The campaign’s centerpiece was a 12-page, full-color brochure, which became the catalyst for refreshing their website and creating their inaugural digital media kit.

In the early stages of a $10M capital campaign, we worked with the staff and board to develop the infrastructure behind their campaign, including a gift table, donor identification system, naming opportunities, and talking points. We also delivered a deep dive into communications, correspondence, and behind-the-scenes processes for cultivating, stewarding, thanking, and honoring donors.

We had a blast being back at camp with Camp Cole and look forward to celebrating the new facility’s positive impact on many deserving people throughout South Carolina.
