»Der Klang des Kreises« (The Sound of the Circle) is a travel diary. In it, the author Christian Meyer-Landruth tells of his journey through Japan on the tracks of his uncle. His stories are accompanied by illustrations by the Japanese artist Sengai Gibon and haikus by Matsuo Bashō.
