Table system
We thought that dividing a line becomes faces as cutting lines are like points. 'FACES' is a table series with repeating faces. Each face is located slightly further away from the center. Therefore, the table varies with the viewing angle. ADAO devised a way to fix columns and faces without welding to position the faces in the correct position. This extraordinary structure is invisible in appearance, so you can feel both the neat structure and the rough finish of the metal at the same time. 'FACES' is a table design that can utilize the space of the floor made of these faces for various purposes.
선을 나누면 점이 되는 것 처럼, 입체를 자르면 면이 된다고 우리는 생각했다. 'FACES' 는 반복되는 면들으로 이루어진 테이블 시리즈이다. 각각의 면들은 중심으로부터 조금씩 더 이동하여 위치해 있다. 따라서 테이블은 보는 각도에 따라 다양하게 변화한다. ADAO는 정확한 위치에 면들을 위치시키기 위해 용접을 하지 않고, 기둥과 면들을 고정시키는 방법을 고안해냈다. 이 특별한 구조는 외관에서 보이지 않기 때문에, 말끔한 구조와 금속의 러프한 마감을 동시에 느낄 수 있다. 'FACES' 는 이 면들로 만들어진 층층의 공간을 다양한 용도로 활용할 수 있는 테이블 디자인이다.
