ART RESIDENCE CHILE is a vertical research along South America, from Patagonia to Atacama Desert. Two extreme and opposing territories, determined by natural and physical variation. An art research with Alessandro Librio curated by N38E13.
For this project, under the artistic direction of Ennio Pellicanò, I realized all the graphic and visual communication, both web and social and editorial for the presentation of the project.
The graphics are characterized by few evocative elements: the chromatic nuance, which from red - symbolizing the heat, the high temperatures found in some territories, such as the Atacama Desert - reaches the most intense blue - which instead evokes the cold of the glaciers of Patagonia.
Centrally, the contours of the map of Chile run through the graphic composition. The title of the project stands out above it, while on the sides - above and below - the stages of the artistic residence are indicated, in correspondence with their geographical position on the map. On the sides, centrally, are indicated the different coordinates of the project, which moves from Italy to Chile. In the lower left a small calendar shows the dates of the residence, and finally, in the lower part, the partnerships established for the realization of the project are mentioned.
I also took care of the graphics of the project presentation, an A4 book with information relating to the artistic residence and therefore to the places in question, to N38E13 and to the artist Alessandro Librio.
The editorial graphics reproduce exactly that developed for the poster, while internally the arrangement of the elements follows a criterion of simplicity and visual clarity.
Even the graphics developed for the web and social networks are consistent with that developed for the project.
