EQRx is a biotech company dedicated to re-engineering the process of innovating novel drugs and delivering them to patients. Their vision is to create a sustainable pipeline for bringing new, high quality drugs to market at fair trade prices.
As Creative AOR, imre Health was tasked with developing and launching a brand that would engage key stakeholders—investors, payers, physicians, and patients—to generate awareness around EQRx’s mission and drive support and excitement.
Our team collaborated with internal stakeholders to assess and translate the company’s emerging brand story into a meaningful and scalable brand platform. In preparation for launch, we extended core messaging themes across internal and external communications in order to build a cohesive brand presence.
Post-launch, imre Health worked closely with EQRx’s leadership team to continue to build the brand’s online presence. In an effort to recruit top talent, we began to shift the narrative from news sharing to brand storytelling, leaning into EQRx’s unique company culture. In doing so, we developed the infrastructure for a rich CRM experience for subscribers and employees to stay updated on company news, announcements, and career opportunities.

imre Health supported the brand’s launch at the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference in January 2020. Through our branding efforts, we were able to demonstrate EQRx’s legitimacy as an established company at launch. Buzz generated at the event secured coverage in The Economist, Bloomberg, CNBC, Forbes, WSJ, CNBC and many more.
In just one week post-launch, the website received approximately 7,000 unique views, with active visitors spending an above average time of 3 minutes and 52 seconds browsing the site. Newsletter sign-ups, welcome email click through rate, and conversion rates for prospective hires were also incredibly strong at launch.
