Susan and I spent 16 days on a 43-ft sailboat recently island hopping in the Bahamas. At one of our stops on Long Island we stopped for some liquid refreshments and much to our surprise the owner of the bar had rescued a 3-week old Osprey abandoned by its parents. Ken was nursing it back to health and it couldn't fly yet. If it grows into its feet, she will be a big, beautiful bird.
