Musicbed is a video, music, film, and advertising company that handpicks new music daily on their website for licensed use. With the helpful tools, filters, and music specialists on call we are removing every barrier between you and the perfect song.

Process:
While researching I looked deeper into music and began exploring the different ways the letterforms could be broken up so that it appears like a staff (set of 5 horizontal lines and four spaces that each represent a different musical pitch). I created my own brush in Adobe Illustrator and began to explore the different ways to break up the word music.
After figuring out how to display music, I began to decide how to position the second part of the logo, bed. I chose this fun colorful bed because it contrasts the lines of the word music. Here are some lockups of the logo when I was deciding the best way for the E to come across.
