The main purpose of this project was to design an interactive donation box for Benaki Museum. The object highlights the values of the institution, which are based on the vision of Anthony Benakis and his love of Greek culture. The main idea about this interactive donation box,is the projection of some traditional costumes on a Cycladic figurine. The figurine will be visible to the users at any time. After the insertion of the money the users will be able to see the figurine dreesed with different costumes.
The concept consists of a combination of geometric shapes and it is a modern performance of ancient Greek column.This project was carried out during the winter semester 2011,throughout the Studio V classes, in collaboration with Thomas Zaviakas,Maria-Ioanna Ksunou and Savvas Sagioglou.
