The Concept
 
The idea behind this project is that it is a boxset of limited edition magazines for high end car lovers. The style is very much illustrated and uses different styles of typography to give each editorial character.

A Perfect fit
 
Every corner of this leather wallet was stitched in and slips each edition of Torque with a snug fit. I wanted the inside to really feel like the interior, soft and sporty with the outside more rugged and luxury.

The Magazine
 
Each magazine deals mainly with a different car. In this instance I have chosen the hypercar competitors from the 2013 Geneva Motorshow. I created illustrations for each car all in the same style and have given them a relevant colour that makes bold statement.

The Leather Boxset
 
This was a very important factor to get right when starting out. I wanted to give viewers the impression they had just picked up a car owners manual. I sourced real high grain car interior leather for the exterior and a mixture of interior suede style and perforated suede style material for the interior of the boxset. to finish off the sporty look of a supercar there is a single line of stitching running round the edge of the casing.
