Shio is a 23-year-old urban princess heir to the Yakuza throne. Born of mixed blood, her name Shio (Salt in Japanese) is a reference to her white blonde hair. After her father refused to take over the family business, he ran away with a German actress and had Shio. As tragedy struck Shio’s immediate family, her Grandfather, the Yakuza boss, stepped into raise his only son's daughter as if she were his own.
Shio embodies the archetypical role of the destroyer. Because she was raised to be hard and merciless, her personality is as colourful as a black hole. Fierce and stubborn, she follows no rules and conforms to no human – with a slight expectation to her Grandfather.
The Obi is in the darari style, which is a reference to her apprenticeship under her grandfather as there is, a high expectation that she will takeover the family business.
