This is a flyer I designed and illustrated for Cape Town band TDK 90, to promote their launch gigs. I was inspired by eastern mythology and religious iconography, as well as by print adverts for tape cassettes from the 80's and 90's. This was due to the band's name, which is taken from a brand of blank tape cassettes that was popular in the 90's. (I myself have fond memories of recording albums and making mix tapes on the venerable TDK 90 tape cassette!)
