Quinta da Saraiva - in late 2019. I was invited to draw fauna & flora of the Island.

The Madeiran Firecrest (Bis-bis / Bisbizinho) is a
tiny song-bird, endemic to the Island of Madeira

The European Goldfinch (Pintassilgo),
known for its red face and yellow on black wings

Swallows (Andorinhas) are common birds in Madeira and are a
source of inspiration for ceramic art in Portugal (Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro)

Chaffinches (Tentilhão) are a very large population,
mainly found in the Laurel forest of Madeira

Last but not least, the Robin (Pisco-de-peito-ruivo / Papinha)
famously known for their red / orange breasts
