Thirsty?
One of my dear friends, is developing her first exhibition. Her theme was sustainability. And we had to create art using things we already had. One of the items is using a stool, which is a must. And design it in whatever concept we want.
Here is what I did, I had an old stool, painted it in dark navy blue. Then cut out the word 'thirsty' and sticked it on the top part of the stool. Why - because the stool is too short, and when people will look at it, they will look at it from the top. My struggle was, how will I represent 'a world without water' in a different way. I bought the glass cleaner and placed it in the middle. I don't know if that sounds cheesy, what do you think?
My Concept is:
A World Without Water,
If in the year 3000, there is no water left. what will you drink? is it this bottle of glass cleaner? How can you save your planet, the environment, animals, and humans to survive. How will your plants grow if there is not water, how can the animals survive without water. how can you survive without water? Its time to conserve the water, and use it wisely. Before its too late, and nothing left except bottles of cleansers.
