About the New Orleans Public Library
 
     Recently, the city of New Orleans rebuilt several libraries around the area prior to being damaged by hurricane Katrina in 2005. The 27 million dollar project brought New Orleans libraries into the modern age; something the new generation of students and young adults today need in order to develop & increase literacy..
