You are the Fear that I Lost

ABOUT

In search of an inner woman, Svetlana began to create this project long before she gave it a name. She just started taking pictures and putting photos in a folder, not knowing what she was looking for. Intuitively, she understood that these pictures remind her of something. What exactly?
Let's try to find out together...

the words of the author

The author of the project is Svetlana Levchenko, curator and artist working with photography, based in Kiev, Ukraine.
Svitlana Levchenko about her project: "Woman is the basis of the Universe. The core of the Universe wrapped in the dirty rags of stereotypes, social roles, imposed ideals, nurtured complexes. All these stuff splits the True Woman."

TRUE WOMAN

COVER

She is fragile, she is feminine, she is pretty, just like the author of these photos. Here she is a true woman. But on her face is a mask that promises to "make her better." Every woman comes across with similar stereotypes that make her think that she is not perfect. That is why on the cover, she turns away from "fear", and for a long time she does not notice it. It seems to her that it should be so.
The letters are scattered, and we should put it together to overcome this fear.
HE plays an important role in her life. HE is the one with whom she competes, HE is the one who dictates the rules, HE is the one who needs to be liked. HE is an embodiment of fear.

It is with this feeling that we open this book.

But, spoiler, in the end, we will lose this fear.
