Double Gatefold Vinyl LP & CD Jackets
for Hammers of Misfortune
Double LP & CD Gatefold Packaging for a strange concept double album by Hammers of Misfortune.
Instead of the standard double-album, this is literally two separate (but compatible) albums that are "joined at the spine". Bandleader John Cobbett's desire was to hold it in hand, seeing one cover, then flip it over to see another cover (upside down orientation to the other side) with the back covers of either being on the inside of the gatefold spread. Each album had it's own insert booklet as well. It was released in CD and LP. Both layouts by myself.
I illustrated the Church of Broken Glass album, and designed a new logo. Credited as butcherBaker.
The cover for Fields was painted by SJ. I photographed it and color-adjusted for print.
Fields band logo was hand drawn by SJ, photographed and digitally adjusted and extended to include the album title by myself.
