위품은 지킬 위[衛] 물건 품[品]으로 집과 가족을 지켜주는 제품이고, 보금자리 안에서 우리를 품어주다' 라는 의미를 가지고 있습니다.

Background

맞벌이 가구가 증가하고, 여성 취업자 수가 늘어나면서 어린 자녀를 보살피는 데 어려움을 겪는 가정이 많아지고 있습니다.
또한, 고령화사회로 접어들면서 독거노인 수가 매년 증가하고 가정에서 보호와 관심이 필요한 대상이 방치되고 있습니다.

가정에서 보호가 필요한 대상은 늘 존재하기 마련이고, 각 가정 환경에 맞는 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 제품이 필요합니다.

As the number of double-income families and female workers increases, there are also increasing numbers of families that complain of difficulties in caring for their young children. In addition, as Korea has already entered an aging society, the number of elderly people living alone is increasing every year, and those who need protection and attention at home are left without any measures. There are always those who need protection in the home, so that products should be provided that can provide services suitable for each of various home environments.

Story Concept

소망이 모여 만들어진 돌탑 A stone tower made with all kinds of wishes

마을 주민들이 하나하나 쌓아 올려 만든 돌탑, 돌탑은 마을로 들어오는 부정적인 것을 막기 위해 쌓은 것으로 주민들의 소망과 정성이 모여서 만들어진 대상물이다. 돌탑에서 오는 조형적인 특징과 지켜주고 보호하고자 하는 의미를 재해석하여 가족 구성원이 안심하고 지낼 수 있는 환경을 만들고자 한다.

The stone tower piled up by the villagers one by one is an object created by gathering together their wishes and devotion to stop negative things that are coming into the village. I want to create an environment in which family members can stay at ease by reinterpreting the formative features of the stone tower and its meaning to protect precious people.

기성제품과의 차별성

단일 제품으로 구성된 기존 홈캠들은 한 곳에 고정되어 사용된다. 그로인한 사각지대는 존재하고 여러 방으로 구성된 가정에서 사용하기에는 적합하지 않습니다. ‘위품’은 기성제품과 달리 여러 제품으로 구성되어 이동이 쉽고 사용 환경과 상황에 맡게 원하는 장소에 설치 할 수 있습니다.

I propose a kind of a home cam ‘Wepoom(衛品)’ which fits well with space and furniture as an interior prop, allowing you to put it in your desired space and then use it, unlike the existing home cams continuously placed in a specific space when used.

다양한 공간에서의 사용성 Usability in various spaces

각 제품을 원하는 장소에 두고 사용하다가 한 곳으로 모았을 때 인테리어 소품으로써 공간과 가구에 어우러집니다.

집 안 가장 중심인 거실에서 사용하는 충전 스테이션은 IOT 기반 중앙 제어 디바이스로 각 제품을 연결해줍니다.
거실을 중심으로 아이 방, 현관, 부엌 등 여러 공간을 한번에 확인하고 가정 내 보호가 필요한 대상을 지켜볼 수 있습니다.

If you put each product in the place you want to use it and then gather them in one place, they do blend with the space as interior props.
The charging station used in the living room, the very heart of the house, connects each product as an IOT-base central control device.
Therefore, you can see the various spaces, including a children’s room, an entrance, a kitchen, etc., around a living room, and observe those who need protection in your home.

녹화 및 실시간 영상을 통해 집 안에 있는 대상과 소통함으로써 부재중일 시에도 보호가 필요한 가족 구성원을 보살필 수 있습니다.

You can take care of family members who should be protected even when you are absent by communicating with the objects in your home through recording and real-time video.

Structure

코일을 이용한 무선충전 방식으로 배터리와 코일이 맞닿았을 때 충전이 시작됩니다.
Charging is available when the battery is in contact with the coil through a wireless charging method using coils.
