Problem
Siargao Island is a tear-drop shaped island within the Caraga region of the Philippines. It’s well known for its many untouched areas such as beaches, falls, mini island, and many more. It is also popular for its locals and tourist’s favourite leisure time which is surfing and motorcycling around the island. The island has so much potential and it needs more international recognition thru a very effective and distinct branding that will bring Siargao’s name to familiarity.
Challenge
The Island is gaining more attention and visitors through words. And with a brand new identity, it would bring out the unique experience and extraordinary culture that the island offers. With that, the rebranding requires to bring out the Caraga region’s tradition visually.
Solution
Inspired by Caraga Region’s common clothing pattern, we combined modern digital art and the traditional and very unique pattern to gain that one of a kind reputation. Contemporary colour schemes that work for young adventurers are being used throughout. In summary, the brand new identity of Siargao Island is very distinct and it depicts the amazing adventures that the Island gives.
