I painted site-specific paintings HOLLYWOOD and BarandOFF for the gallery Ahoj, Nazdar, Čau.
The Diptych HOLLYWOOD and BarandOFF involves the BarandOFF bar, which was located in the former Warsaw cinema building and pictures depict characters from my favourite Hollywood films. These real and fictional people meet each other in the bar that doesn't exist any longer.
These works should show a decline and ephemerality in society, reality and fiction or paradoxical human existence - both depicted in the pictures and by making a choice of film topics.
