Computational Design and Digital Fabrication​​​​​​​

Geometric Logic
The processes of digital prototyping which is to improve computational design and digital fabrication. The segmentation of Meshes is related to final geometric prototype and the method to unrolling surfaces of final model. It also have an advantage to lofting. 

The prototype aimed on the Hyperboloid Paraboloid, because it could show the problems about fabricating the hyperbolic surface, also could be applied on the geometry of industrial objects. It takes the advantages of parametric design to mass production and customization.
Methodology
[1] Computational design : According to the segmentation of Meshes to design the prototype and simulate to finding the form by Kangaroo in the Grasshopper environment.

[2] Digital fabrication : The method of unrolling surfaces which is based on Graph Theory by Ivy inside the Grasshopper environment and is beneficial to produce units to fabricate models. Through creating the hole on edges of each stripes to lofting inside Grasshopper and joint by “Blind Rivet” to fabricate the hyperbolic surface.

[3] Response to computer-aided design : Improving the techniques of fabrication and redesigning to approach geometries. Through the material behaviour to adjusting the connection of each stripes material to joint closely and dividing more meshes to fit the curvature of surface.
