The book cover design distills the basic shapes we had to work with to understand Gestalt theory in application to the creation of the content inside.
The shapes are stripped down forms of element to enable focus on creating interesting compositions such as balancing negative and positive space, imposing contrast, conveying direction, e.t.c.
