Europe is on sale
Europe is at a crossroads of difficult decisions. Financial crisis, refugees, loss of allies and the Brexit saga are just some of the issues forming grey clouds over the future of EU, while scattering fear among European citizens.
In this context, when Fundamental European values are on sale, creating an unbearable void in the life of every European citizen, we were called to imprint in a creative way for a project by Slanted, an internationally acclaimed magazine that focuses on design, while keeping always an eye for social fermentation.
Our entry on Slanted #34 – Europe was based on the idea of discount that governs our world so deep that we imagined the brand new European status quo as a receipt during the sales. Prosperity, security, justice and solidarity can’t protect you anymore, and the connection between European citizens and the Union seems irreparably broken.
Will the EU adjust to the challenges of its time or will continue to act with outdated painkillers?
