project OVERVIEW

Founded in Indonesia by noted veterinarian and educator Drh. Bayu Wirayudha, the Friends of the National Park Foundation  is a local non-profit organisation working to preserve Indonesia’s wildlife and its habitat for her people and for the world. Its mission is to create a culture of learning which recognizes the intrinsic inter-relatedness of human beings, our fellow creatures and the environment.

Currently they are running 2 very important projects; one aiming to reduce the deforestation of the native forest where the
Orangutan lives and the other run conservational initiatives to protect thebirds Starling, an endangered bird only found in Bali's forests.

the CHALLENGE

Realizing that its identity was outdated – no longer impacting – and not being consistently applied throughout the organization, the FNPF asked me to work as a volunteer to design a new logo for the Friends of the National Park Foundation.

my SOLUTION

AN UMBRELLA

In terms of branding and corporate identity, this is one of my favorites works as a designer and marketing practitioner. You just need to have a look at the system to get inspired, it’s so simple and beautiful.

THE STRATEGY

Establish graphic design guidelines to create a family of synergistic brand elements that can all be integrated. Outcome: An always fresh and honest logo. This way in the future when any other projects arise, other logos can be added to the umbrella brand.
