Sebastian Simons is a surfer and a real adventurer
based in Scarborough, Cape Town. When I asked him
for a surf shooting I didn't really think about what
kind of footage I will get in the end. At this time I've
been at Misty Cliffs only once before and I couldn't
believe what a magical of our nature was waiting
there for me. I was a bit scared about the ocean.
right in front of me was a massive swell at this
wonderful surfspot. The biggest waves I’ve seen in
my entire life. I was overthinking my idea a few days
because I was never shooting in waves before and
seriously it won't be the easiest thing to do. At
the day we were shooting that series there were
only small waves at Misty Cliffs so I had the chance
to capture this great moments.
