A brochure to celebrate 10 years of the Arts and Science Meetings at the Espace CHUV, to recall the stakes and synthesize it into images, with the exhibits, concerts, lectures, performances, shows, readings, it's also a tribute all people who supported us, starting with the artists and our partners, the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne, the Théâtre Vidy-Lausanne and the Payot Foundation for the promotion of reading.

Thanks to UNESCO's commitment, culture in the hospital is one of the focal points of the reforms affecting the hospital world, given the need to make the hospital a more humane place, open to the city, aiming at respect for the patient in his or her social, cultural and spiritual dimension. Since 2010, the "Rencontres arts et sciences" of the Espace CHUV, programmed in collaboration with the Cultural Commission, offer continuity in this rapprochement of knowledge and allow for a diversity of approaches by bringing together musical, literary, visual and medical perspectives around a theme or in a freeway.
This decompartmentalization of the respective fields also makes it possible to meet new audiences in a public place of excellence, the university hospital, the crossroads of our society, where all social backgrounds, all nationalities and all generations converge.
