Creation of Postmedia’s first ever Design System for our new Cheetah news platform.
My Role:
UX Designer/Architect/Manager
Duties:
• Design Systems research.
• Compile best practices.
• Create Project Plan.
• Plan various group exercises with various team members to understand and establish our own “design language”.
• Gather requirements, design and technical details from a diverse team of professionals.
• Organize & Compile information in a well organized Confluence-based website.
• Capture technical information, and UX Design details, mockups, and prototypes in an easy to scan & read format.
• Create & Setup design-oriented Design System tools in Sketch, and other software.
• Establish & Document best practices for both Design & Development.
