I was asked to design the CD jacket for a choral group called "Coro Cantabile", based in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. The CD they recorded was a Christmas CD. The funding for the CD project was from an outside resource, so this became a classic case of working with the funder instead of the actual group. Because of this, my original designs were rejected and my I was controlled into a completely different design.
The first thing you'll see here are my original designs, which really captured the essence of what Coro Cantabile was all about, including my rendering of a church they did several performances in. Then you'll see the design as it ended up for the final CD. Towards the bottom you'll see splash page and a short video I produced for the groups as well, for their CD release party.
