Graphicart, even though closely related to advertising, constitutes a form of art through which the visual information becomes concrete in order to convey a message. However, if we detach this process from the propagandistic-commercial aspect of advertising, graphic art turns into a form of free art that possesses a pictorial nature and character, much as any other form of artistic creation. Stripped ofthe normative templates, graphic art is inspired by everyday life and, using the digital pen as a tool, it becomes a communicant of art messages. The experimental attitude and the curiosity for the true discovery of new aspectsin graphic art, here upon bear black-and white linear representations of symbols, which are reinforced by self-appointed titles with no need forverbosities. Emotions, expressions and thoughts are stamped into the subconscious and become real with just one“click”. The presentedition is self-limited design-wise and complies with strict rules, using anexclusively small number of pre-assigned means in order to achieve the synthesis of symbols and images. The design is based on the combination of letters. Simple geometrical shapes attempt to excite the viewers’ imagination, so that they can decode the message by themselves and compose or decompose the image in their minds. A kind of puzzle that has no pre-assigned depiction, since every single piece, viewed in a different way and set in a different dimension, can render a new synthesis. Symbol-images that urgethe viewers to go from synthesis to abstraction, reversing the forms which Ichose to work on. Ultimately, the roles are reversed and everybody makes their own realistic depictions.
