Rhyming Pairs Color Illustration

For the color illustration, I decided to go with the rhyming pair of "Best Dressed". I thought it would be comical to have that be a salad with the best dressing inside a winning trophy. Having a humorous concept, I wanted to do a very bright and fun graphic style. With that being said, I chose to go for a bright color palette and rounded line work. After sketching and trying out several compositions I decided to go with a close up view so that the main focus will be the dressing.
