Yurta
Mongolian shelter inspired furniture & exhibition piece.
The source of inspiration behind 'Yurta' was from dwellings which have been used by Mongolian nomads for centuries.  These structures make use of nautral materials available from the land.  'Yurta' makes use of oak and organic fibre rope to create a structure with no use of metals or plastics.  The top and bottom are covered in leather hide which is stretched using natural string and wool stuffing.

'Yurta' was exhibited with Designersblock at Milan's Design Week 2010.  It was also featured on Vogue Italia's website for up and coming design;
