Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Campaign

By choosing to feature a range of patterns from throughout the Asian Pacific Islander region, we were able to avoid modern trappings and stereotypes typically found in marketing of Asian Pacific Islander products and events.
The biggest challenge of the project was to couple a clean aesthetic with the copious amounts of information for each of the month's events in a pleasing and thoughtful way.
To culminate the APIA Heritage Month and the end of the 2012-2013 Academic year, a commemorative program was created for the Asian Pacific Islander Graduation Celebration.
Color choices and design elements featured in pieces from APIA Month were carried over into the graduation program.

Stickers were created to giveaway at APIA Month events, and were designed to bring awareness and engage audiences in dialogue surrounding the language used to describe the API community.
