Here are a few early sketches for a character built up. This is Betty, she is a quirky lady who owns a magic button shop -
an eclectic colourful character, with a twinkle in her eye. She might be getting old, but she is no granny!
The book is an adventure, fantasy story with a touch of magic aimed at age 3/4 plus.
The character had to have a fun, intriguing, almost Vivienne Westwood vibe about her.
It was a lot of fun developing her and her button shop.
