A collaborate project with another student to design a household item ready for mass or batch manufacture.
Our idea from this was to design a piece of kitchenware that was disguarded in to the draw and make it a feature of the kitchen. Issues considered were useability and aesthics.
To solve the brief we used the brand image of Brabantia who design metalic long life Kitchenware. The product had to be designed for CNC machining and made to be a working model.

Final model machined out of high density modelboard and sprayed. Tin opener parts as standard to other tin openers. Finished in high gloss aluminium spray paint.
