Using the typeface I created called Dream, which is inspired by a dreamcatcher, I made a poster for the Bonnaroo Music Festival. Since dreamcatchers are known to bring about good vibes, I chose Bonnaroo as my event because of its goal to not only spread the love of music, but positive vibes as well. My typeface is very decorative and playful and I wanted to choose colors and design elements that suited the typeface. For the body copy, I used Raleway to complement my typeface. Because Bonnaroo is a camping music festival, I decided to add tents at the bottom of the poster, as well as a car.
