Joel Robison
Combining everyday objects with a fantasy-inspired style, Robison creates these breathtaking images that showcase his incredible editing. Using people, commonly himself, as a base, he adds in larger versions of small objects to create a contrast between the size differences.

I am going to recreate his style, in doing so I will be experimenting with editing and how I am able to position myself or models in the correct way to get a good outcome. The everyday objects I would like to use would be a tea cup or a mug, a book and possibly a pencil or a flower.
I had a lot of fun creating these photos, working by myself in the studio was an interesting experience but I learnt a lot about my camera and how to coordinate my body into the positions I wanted. I really like how the book photo came out and the original mushroom house. I really liked creating these, even the editing process was not the hardest for me personally, but next time I do a style like this, I would like to plan my images a bit more or do more intricate details that require more time.
