Okay, so I was pushing this one round for what felt like forever! so I cannot explain how good it felt to get it out there in some respect, Ive still got more planned for this one though. It was heavily inspired by the art of Uzi Emperado (you can find his work here I strongly urge you to check that). Every thing that guy draws seems to go beyond being just a drawing or a design, in alot of his stuff its not to hard to find a bit of narrative behind the work. I don't think I achieved it very well overall but thats what I set out to try with this one.
This started off again as a doodle in the office (although for the life of me I can't find it now) with the thought process of "Why dont any Iron Maidens actually look like women?" and off I went.
So straight after work, I rushed home to my own office and here I started to redraw it up digitally.
Here was the final sketch up, Im not sure how well the concept came across but she had a split down the middle where she would be pulled open from a hinged back so that the torture victim could be inserted.
Straight from the sketch and into the inks! This was so much fun to ink up, the hair... not so much... but for the most part im fairly happy with how it ended up.

Now before I turned this over to the advertees contest it was going to be a screen print on black card stock so I had to change it up a little bit to make it work on white. This however is how it would have looked on black.
Which brings us to this, Much like the skull totem, the black lines on white kinda looked a bit too harsh for me, so I softend them up in a similar manner

Again same as the skull totem, the blood layer looked really cool all bitmapped up
