THE PROJECT
A selected series of a literary classic, illustrated in a lush, detailed style with feminine touches and subtle Victorian influences.
With this book in particular, I took inspiration from Victorian-era lockets and frames, using these to base the compositions of each illustration on. Greenery spills over the frames on each page, creating a rich experience as you flip through the book. A minimal color palette brings to life the pops of color inserted here and there, and contrasts the delicate areas, such as the pattern used on the end papers.
