The volcano Whakatane explosivly errupted on 09. December 2019. During the eruption 47 visitors were on White Island to explore the famous volcano. Most of the people that got injured, killed or went missing were Tourists and Tourist guides. This zine deals with the topic >Expectations of Traveling to dangerous places<. It starts a discourse, by asking the reader certain questions about his/her travel mentality. Am I aware of the danger by traveling to unsafe destinations? Why do I travel there? Do I travel for myself or do I want to show people what I did (ignoring the danger)?
