UFC 249: Khabib vs Ferguson
This was a missed opportunity, as the project came in just before my paternity leave began. But for me as a fan of the sport, it's the fight of the decade and I wanted to try something out anyway, and since it's not real - I can break a few rules! I wanted to explore representing this matchup in an aggressive and chaotic way. The idea of the boogeyman going up against an unstoppable force. The clashing of two sport icons, violent & unstable paint-over style, caracature-ized and blended with unconventional typography. Fun experiment, based on imagery pulled from UFC fight footage.
