“Never be in a hurry; do everything quietly and in a calm spirit. Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset.”

Don’t be in a hurry. „What does it mean? Does it mean I should do everything slow? Because I don’t have time for that, I have things to do! Maybe you can do it because your life is different – you don’t have all the problems I have to deal with every day!”
Many people are stuck in this way of thinking – telling yourself that you don’t have time to slow down is one of the biggest lies created by the brain to stop us from growing, to stop us from changing, from going into the unknown. For our mind, what’s familiar is safe, so every unnecessary action is just a waste of energy. It’s better to stay in a safe place, even if it’s uncomfortable than to go into unknown, even when we can see a great opportunity there. But we can never be sure whether we get there. What if we get lost on the way? We are so attached to the life we know that many times when opportunity comes, not only we don’t notice it – we don’t want to see it! Because when we see it and don’t take action, we will feel bad about ourselves. We will have another thing to think about. It’s better just to ignore it, to look away and pretend nothing happened. Get back to a safe place. Hide. That’s what your mind is telling you. But whether you follow it is up to you.
