Colour is a part of the story
I took these photos almost 2 years ago. I wasn't proud of them - just copied and forgot about them. Till now.
I'm a big cinema fan and Jean-Pierre Jeunet is one of my favourite directors. If you have seen "Delicatessen", "City of the lost children", "Amelie" or "Micmacs" then probably you noticed that each of Jeunet's film has its own and unique combination of colours. For example: "Delicatessen" - gray sepia, "City of the lost children" - dark green, "Amelie" - sunny orange.

That inspired me to create my own filter and use it with these originally characterless photos. Maybe some of them look quite odd or artificial but that's the exact effect I wanted to achieve. I wanted to make them look moody and nostalgic but also a bit anxiously. And I'm hoping they look so.
